Install the libraries
In the Arduino IDE, open Library Manager, search
and install it. Choose “Install all” so Adafruit GFX comes along. This screen needs an ESP32. If you haven't set one up yet: open Boards Manager, search
esp32, install “esp32 by Espressif Systems”, then pick your board under Tools → Board. -
Upload the sketch
Copy the sketch below, paste it into a new sketch (File → New), pick your board and port, then click Upload. Your current model and settings are baked in.
-
Tune it live over USB (optional)
Once the sketch is on the board, you can send new settings straight over the USB cable without re-uploading. The board saves them. Close the Arduino Serial Monitor first. Needs Chrome or Edge on a computer.
Settings
The portal fades through each set below in order, then starts over. Set 1 is also your main colours. Up to 4 sets.
Your board & wiring
Type the GPIO numbers you wired to. The sketch sets itself up for ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi Pico, Teensy and Arduino boards automatically.
